NYCFC Decision Day at Citi Field

A scheduling conflict resulting from an early playoff push by the New York Yankees led the city's MLS franchise, NYCFC, to relocate their Decision Day finale to Citi Field in Flushing, Queens.  Amidst the club's search for a permanent home outside of Yankee Stadium, this match held a storyline even deeper than 2017 playoff seeding.

Under summer-like conditions, and in front of a packed, energetic Citi Field crowd, City played the Columbus Crew to a 2-2 draw, earning second place in the Eastern Conference and a first-round bye.  Below are a few photos from the last (home) game of the season.  See you back in Bronx next month!
